Great Outdoor Designs is a design-only company. I focus entirely on how to realize your dreams for your garden. I am not trying to sell you particular plants or materials. I am not trying to promote cookie-cutter, easy-to-install designs. I work with you to achieve the best possible design for your lifestyle, situation, and budget.

My definition of success is creating a high-quality design that you will enjoy for many years. 
I have spent many years studying and designing landscapes in Southern Ontario, Southern Alberta, and the Okanagan. More recently I have completed certificate courses with Guelph University, courses in Xeriscaping and Water Conservation, and extensive software training so that I can work effectively as a landscape designer in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.

I apply modern technology including Sketchup 3D software, GIS mapping, and a 3D LIDAR scanner to accurately map your residence and surrounding environment. This allows me to visualize and control the landscape plan for maximum effect.

The rate for these consultations is $40/hr. Good communication allows me to tailor my work to your needs and budget.
