I like to use natural materials and carefully chosen plants to build a beautiful outdoor environment that integrates well with your home and neighbourhood. I focus on designing interesting outdoor spaces that fit with your lifestyle while taking advantage of the unique characteristics of your house and lot. The emphasis is generally on low maintenance and low water use options (xeriscape).

Analytic by nature, I do my best work in creating an actual planned drawing for any given area, using simple photogrammetry and drafting software.

When you are happy with the design, I can make recommendations on who can provide the best installation using the plans we have created. I can also work with the installer selected by you, to make certain that the plan is understood and followed correctly.
